Another victory for KNURE on the European education front!
The V.V. Popovsky Department of Information and Communication Engineering at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics has become a partner in a new international project under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education programme:
TwinTech – “Transforming Ukraine with Digital Twin Technology: Path to a Green and Smart Future”
The project will bring together universities, research institutions, businesses, government organisations and technology partners from Ukraine and European Union countries.
🎯 TwinTech’s aim is to create a modern, educational and innovative environment within Ukrainian universities for the study and practical application of Digital Twin technologies.
The project envisages the following:
🔹 the development and implementation of new interdisciplinary courses on digital twin technologies;
🔹 the integration of these technologies into the training of specialists in robotics, automation, and information and telecommunications systems;
🔹 the creation of state-of-the-art Digital Twin Labs, where student teams will be able to design, develop, test and validate digital twins;
🔹 Launch of the TWINTECH Academy to enhance the skills of representatives from business and industry;
🔹 the establishment of an international network of developers, researchers, universities, companies and users of Digital Twin technologies;
🔹 support for Ukraine’s digital, green and technological transformation.
For our department, this is not merely a new international project. It is an opportunity to create an education that is ahead of its time, to develop modern information and communication technologies, and to train specialists capable of working with digital models of real-world manufacturing, engineering and telecommunications systems.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the project coordinator in Ukraine — the State University “Kyiv Aviation Institute” — for its leadership, trust, far-reaching vision and for bringing together a strong international consortium.
We thank all our partners from Ukraine and the European Union for their professionalism, perseverance and shared belief that Ukrainian education and science should be an integral part of the European technological landscape. The consortium comprises 15 organisations from Ukraine, Slovenia, Lithuania, Germany and Sweden.
We are particularly proud that it is the V.V. Popovsky Department of Information and Communication Engineering that will represent KhNURE in this project.
💙💛 Today, Ukrainian universities are not merely keeping education going under extremely difficult circumstances. They are developing the technologies of the future, building international teams and laying the foundations for Ukraine’s recovery.
We’re not waiting for the future — we’re shaping it today!
We have three years ahead of us filled with hard work, new knowledge, laboratories, educational programmes, international collaboration and technological solutions.
TwinTech is getting underway. And KNURE is among those driving Ukraine’s transformation! 🚀
