International scientific conference NGSec'2022 begin
On July 14, 2022 the first International Scientific Conference Next Generation Cybersecurity Systems and Applications - NGSEC'2022 began its work. The conference was held in an online format.
During the conference, moscow perpetrated yet another terrorist act, striking the center of peaceful Vinnitsa with three rockets, one of which hit a civilian medical center. Dozens of people were killed (including children) and hundreds wounded.
The conference was organized by the scientific teams of the Kharkov National University of Radioelectronics, National Aviation University, and V.N. Karazin Kharkov National University. Scientists from different universities and organizations of Ukraine, as well as from other countries - Italy, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Poland - took part in the conference with about 30 reports.
The work of the conference was organized at the plenary session (moderators: Prof. Odarchenko R.S. and Prof. Ageyev D.V.) and in three sections:
- Cryptography and cryptanalysis (moderator: Oleynikov R.V., V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University);
- Next generation network security systems (moderator: Prof. Yevdokymenko M.O., KNURE);
- Critical information infrastructure and applications security(moderator: Prof. Gnatiuk S.O., NAU).
Employees of the V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department presented a report at the "Next generation network security systems" section:
Oleksandr Lemeshko, Oleksandra Yeremenko, Maryna Yevdokymenko, Volodymyr Porokhniak, Serhii Harkusha and Olena Harkusha. System of Routing Solutions Based on Security Aware Traffic Engineering Models.
The conference participants congratulated Professor Yeremenko O.S., whose birthday fell on the opening day of the conference.
The co-chairman of the conference from KNURE was Prof. Radivilova T.A. from the V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department. Three representatives of the V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering actively worked in the conference organizing committee: Prof. Lemeshko O. V., Prof. Ageyev D.V., Prof. Yevdokymenko M. O. .
The purpose of this conference is to provide an opportunity and platform to exchange information on theoretical, scientific and practical advances with a discussion of the challenges faced by researchers, scientists and engineers in the field of network and information security. In addition, much attention should be paid to the security and privacy aspects of 5G networks, which are among the most important today.
