Employees of the V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering took part in the project "CYBERTEENS PLATFORM". The aim of the project is to raise schoolchildren's awareness of cyber hygiene issues through an online learning platform, which will contribute to their protection in the information space from social and digital threats, cyber fraudsters and extortionists, etc., as well as support their psychosocial well-being.
The CyberTeens online platform is filled with a variety of educational materials. In addition to educational and methodological materials, the platform also contains comic books, scenarios of possible influences on schoolchildren, incidents and common situations in which teenagers most often find themselves. In general, the platform is an extremely useful platform where students can not only learn, but also get answers to questions that arise, and through the feedback form, consult if necessary.
The project was led by Yevdokymenko M.O., Prof. of the V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department. Roman Kapusta, a laboratory assistant of the department, was a teacher of training courses for schoolchildren, and his colleague Volodymyr Porokhniak, a 4th year student, was the technical manager of the https://www.cyberteens.education/ platform.
In total, students from 45 schools in Ukraine are already studying on the platform, 521 students have completed the training and more than 400 more middle and high school students are completing the training. In the future, it is planned to attract even more students to the platform.
Recall that the CyberTeens platform was created with the support of the European Union and the International Renaissance Foundation as part of the joint initiative "EUROPEAN Renaissance of Ukraine".
