On November 25,2022 the Chernihiv National University of Technology together with the Institute of Special Communication and Information Protection of National Technical University of Ukraine "Ihor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" and National Aviation University hosted the All-Ukrainian Studen. From our department and NURE participated in the Olympiad 4th year students Roman Kapusta, Anhelina Pashkova and Dmytro Shedin, who are studying in the specialty 125 "Cybersecurity" (educational program "Information Security Management"). The scientific advisor of the team was the Dean of the Faculty of Infocommunications, Associate Professor Snihurov A.V.

During the competition, the team was offered three texts according to the suggested topics, namely "Modern History," "Ancient History," and "Cybersecurity," which had false and conventionally true information disguised as authentic confirmed facts. Our students chose historical events whose evidence could be found exclusively in foreign sources and publications. Also, lexical and psychological techniques were used to create texts that caused the enemy to pay attention specifically to words and statements that would distract from untruthful information. In addition, adversary texts that had the same deceptive factors were worked through for the report. Relevant historical documents were found for evidence, revealing the essence of the opponent's text and corroborating the team's opinion.

As a result of summarizing the results, the team of students of the V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department won an honorable third place and received the corresponding diploma. Congratulations to the fourth-year students and their advisor for their successful performance and a prize place in the Olympiad. We wish them further victories in competitions and contests!
