At the V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering over the last 5 years successfully functioning IEEE-community, which consists of 9 people – tutors of the department (as of October 2020). Two of them, the head of the department Prof. Lemeshko O.V. and Prof. Yeremenko O.S. are IEEE Senior members. The activity of IEEE member community of the department is manifested, for example, in regular participation in International IEEE conferences (TCSET, IDAACS, IDT, ICATT, SST, CADSM, ATIT, UKRCON, DSMP, CriMiCo (до 2014 року), UkrMiCo, CSIT, PICS&T, AICT, ELNANO, DESSERT etc.).

At IEEE conferences TCSET, UkrMiCo, PICS&T, AICT our scientists are members of the organizing or program committees. In addition, faculty members of the V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department are the core of the organizing committee of the IEEE conference PROBLEMS OF INFOCOMMUNICATIONS. SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (PICS&T): Prof. Ageyev D.V. is the chairman of the organizing committee, and Professors Lemeshko O.V., Radivilova T.A. are his deputies, Professors Titarenko L.O., Yeremenko O.S., Moskalets M.V., Associate Professors Snihurov A.V., Martynchuk O.O., Yevdokymenko M.O. are members of this conference organizing committee.

Since 2019 Prof. Ageyev D.V. is the deputy head of the COM Society community of the Ukrainian section of IEEE, and Prof. Yeremenko O.S. is the deputy head of the Ukrainian section of IEEE Women in Engineering community in Ukraine since 2018. In addition, tutors of the department are members of such IEEE communities: IEEE Communications Society, IEEE Young Professionals, IEEE Women in Engineering, IEEE Cloud Computing Community, IEEE Cybersecurity Community, IEEE Software Defined Networks Community, IEEE Internet Technology Policy Community, IEEE Reliability Society, IEEE Sustainable ICT Community, IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Security and Privacy, IEEE Big Data Community.
