According to the results of the webometric rating of the departments of Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics, the first place was taken by the V. V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering. It is our department that has for 10.6% of the total contribution of the departments to the webometrics achievements of the university as a whole.

 

The winners were determined by a composite index, which took into account scientometric indicators of the department staff and "web presence" of the departments on the Internet, which is associated with the content and popularity of their websites. For the diligent work on the preparation of "Regulations for rating evaluation of webometric indicators of KHNURE departments", collection and processing of statistical data on the success of university staff and the popularity of websites of departments we should thank the activists of the Information Systems and Technology Centre, Benchmarking Department and separately Associate Professor Tkacheva V.M.

According to the decision of the Rector of KHNURE Semenets V.V., who initiated the creation and promotion of the webometric ranking, the university departments with the best results were awarded with graphical tablets.

The webometric ranking of university departments was introduced in order to improve KHNURE position in world rankings.
