V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department retains first place in the webometric ranking of KNURE departments at the end of 2021
Dear colleagues, the results of webometric rating of the departments of Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics for the IV quarter of 2021 and for the year in general have been summed up.
This rating was introduced in December 2020 on the initiative of KNURE Rector Valeriy Semenets in order to improve the webometric performance of the university in national and international rankings. The ranking takes into account the quality of websites of the departments, as well as the level of publication activity of the employees of KHNURE departments, assessed through the prism of Scopus and Google Scholar databases.
The interim results of the webometric rankings are published on a quarterly basis. It is important to emphasise that, as in the previous three quarters of 2021, in the IV quarter V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department confidently won first place in this prestigious ranking of KHNURE departments, for which the best units receive prizes.
V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department steadily increased its contribution to the webometric achievements of KHNURE during the year:
І quarter 2021 - 10,602 %;
ІІ quarter 2021 - 10,967 %;
ІІІ quarter 2021 - 11,449 %;
ІV quarter 2021 - 11,83 %.
If we detail the results obtained, in comparison with other departments and teams, V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department provided the highest contribution in Google Scholar with 12.154% and the highest contribution in Scopus+WoS with 12.108%.
The high results of V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department have secured the second place in the webometric ranking of KHNURE departments in the fourth quarter of 2021.
The winning results by individual quarters allowed V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department to top the overall webometric ranking of KHNURE departments for 2021.
