The International Academic Mobility at the University of Coimbra (Portugal)

Thanks to the fruitful cooperation between V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department of NURE and the University of Coimbra (Portugal), it was proposed to continue the partnership within the framework of the KA171 Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Program. As a result, an inter-institutional agreement on the academic mobility of students and tutors was signed.

It should be noted that the Erasmus+ academic mobility program (International Credit Mobility, ICM) offers students and employees of educational institutions the opportunity to apply for grants to conduct exchange training or teaching in higher education institutions in Europe. In doing so, ICM grantees can increase their experience and knowledge, foreign language competence, employability, productivity, and social responsibility.

According to the renewed contract, mobility can take place from April 2025 to July 31, 2027. Faculty exchanges start in the second semester of the current academic year (February-July 2025), but student mobility should be implemented starting from the next academic year (2025-2026).

Number of available spaces:

1 students (duration of mobility - 5 months);
1 tutor/staff (mobility duration - 5 days + 2 days of travel).

Areas of study: 0713 – Electricity and energy/0714 – Electronics and Automation.

The competition for Coimbra University for the academic year 2025-2026 has been declared open.

The list of selected participants among students is submitted not later than 3 months before the start of student mobility, and teachers - not later than 2 months before the start of the exchange.
