Thanks to the productive cooperation between the V.V. Popovsky Department of ICI at KHNURE and the University of Coimbra (Portugal), an inter-institutional agreement on academic mobility for students and faculty is in effect under the KA171 Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility programme.

The Erasmus+ Academic Mobility programme (International Credit Mobility, ICM) provides students and staff of educational institutions with the opportunity to apply for grants for exchange studies or teaching at higher education institutions in Europe. Participation in the programme allows participants to broaden their experience and knowledge, improve their foreign language proficiency, and enhance their employment prospects, productivity, and social responsibility.

Under the agreement, mobility activities may take place from April 2025 through July 31, 2027.

Please note that based on the current agreement, applications are now open for participation in the academic mobility programme for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Number of available spaces:

• 1 students (duration of mobility - 5 months);
• 1 tutor/staff (mobility duration - 5 days + 2 days of travel).

Areas of study: 0713 – Electricity and energy/0714 – Electronics and Automation.

Grant support

• Incoming grant for students:
850 EUR/month + 580 EUR travel support + insurance (provided by the UC)
• Incoming grant for teachers:
1670 EUR/day + 580 EUR travel support + insurance (provided by the UC)

The competition for Coimbra University for the academic year 2026-2027 has been declared open.

The list of selected participants among students is submitted not later than 3 months before the start of student mobility, and teachers - not later than 2 months before the start of the exchange.
