On March 15, 2024, the webinar "Academic mobility of students of the V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering" was held at the V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering. The students of the department were invited to the webinar, the coordinator of the academic mobility programs Professor Yeremenko O.S. and the students who participated in similar programs in 2023 spoke before them.

Professor Yeremenko O.S. in her speech dwelled on organizational issues of participation of students of the department and NURE in general in academic mobility programs with European universities; made an announcement of the nearest such events and invited students to plan their participation in such projects ahead of time.

The participants of the webinar were addressed by the students of the V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering - Kyrylo Zavadskyi, Danylo Bielikov, Karyna Horiainova, Larysa Pyliuk, who were trained in 2023 at the leading universities of Europe - University of Coimbra (Portugal) and Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (Keten, Germany). They told about their emotions and impressions about their stay in these countries and universities. They focused on a set of issues - from living conditions, teaching methods, communication to organization of leisure and travel.

The speakers gave comprehensive answers to a wide range of questions that came from tutors and students of the department and concerned the comparison of learning conditions in different universities, the level of demanding teachers and the objectivity of knowledge assessment. Separately, the speakers emphasized the attention of the seminar participants to the issues of academic virtue and high level of independence in the fulfillment of practical and project tasks. Traditionally, attention was drawn to the necessity of learning foreign languages. Knowledge of English is a prerequisite for selection for participation in academic mobility programs. Participation in the program is a productive practice and an opportunity to improve your level of foreign language skills.

Such seminars are already becoming a good tradition, where students can exchange opinions, find out for themselves problematic issues and prepare for participation in future academic mobility programs.
