Jean Monnet project course on “EU Best Practices for Secure Internet of Things and Smart Infrastructures” launched
In May 2021, the Jean Monnet course on "EU Best Practices for Secure IoT and Smart Infrastructures" began, taught by Yevheniia Kuzminykh, Associate Professor at V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department. As part of the course, students will learn how to identify the IoT system assets to be protected, the technologies, protocols and communication patterns to be chosen to build an IoT network, conduct threat modelling and identify methods to protect specific scenarios, and are updated on the European Parliament documentation on security requirements that apply in EU countries and the future certification of information and communication technology devices and products (NIS Directive, EU Cyber Security Act).
