Employees of the V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department in the ranking list of authors of scientific publications, formed by Elsevier
Elsevier has compiled a ranking list of world scientists based on their publication activity and citations for 2021. This is a publicly available database of scientists with high citation rates that provides standardized information on the number of citations, the h-index, the hm-index adjusted for authorship, citations of articles with different author positions, and the composite index (c-index).
The ranking list contains metrics with and without self-citation, as well as the ratio of the number of citations to cited articles. Scientists are classified into 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields. Percentages for individual fields and sub-fields are also provided for all scientists. This database uses data from the Scopus database provided by Elsevier through the ICSR laboratory. Calculations were performed using all Scopus author profiles as of September 1, 2022.
The Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics this year was represented by eight scientists at once, four of whom are employees of the V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering. Traditionally, the highest place in the ranking is occupied by Professor Ageyev D.V., who for the third year in a row is among the 100,000 most publically active and cited scientists in the world. Professors Radivilova T.A., Yeremenko O.S. and Lemeshko O.V. were included in the list of 200 000 best scientists of the world for 2021.
In the final ranking list for 2021 the leading Ukrainian universities have the following representation: V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University - three scientists; Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv - three; NTU “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” - four; National University "Lviv Polytechnic" - six; National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" - six scientists.
