December 7, 2022 students of the V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering of NURE participated in a webinar on "Benefits of the RangeForce Platform for Future Student Employment" from the USAID Project "Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine".
As part of the webinar, Tanner Howell, RangeForce's director of solution development, introduced the students to the new modules on the platform and showed them how to get a hands-on certification.
Public and private sector representatives, namely Vadim Chakryan (DataArt), Alexander Adamov (GlobalLogic Ukraine, NioGuard Security Lab), Alexey Baranovsky (BTH), Vitaly Balashov (EPAM) and Yanina Roy (NEC UkrEnergo) spoke about how training at the Rangeforce cyber test site will contribute to employment of young people and focused on that the certificates from RangeFroce demonstrate to the employer the student's level of knowledge in a certain cybersecurity area, simplify the interview and add advantages in getting the desired job to the certificate holder.
In general, training students of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics on the RangeForce platform and gaining just the practical skills is certainly weighty and extremely important, and will contribute to the training of future Ukrainian specialists.
Thanks to the USAID Project "Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine", all the speakers and the moderator of the webinar, Prof. Yevdokymenko M.O. of the V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering, for organizing this interesting and useful event for students.
