As part of the cooperation between the NSDC of Ukraine and CRDF Global, a theoretical and practical online workshop on the basics of cybersecurity and cyberhygiene was held
As part of cooperation between the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine and the United States Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF Global in Ukraine) and based on arrangements under the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and CRDF Global in Ukraine, a theoretical and practical online workshop on the basics of cybersecurity and cyberhygiene was held on 9 November 2021. The workshop was attended by 270 employees of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and diplomatic missions abroad.The seminar was attended by 270 participants from the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and diplomatic representations abroad.
Leading national cybersecurity experts were involved in the preparation and delivery of the workshop. KHNURE was represented at the event by Professor of V. V. Popovskyy ICE Department Radivilova T.
During the workshop, participants were able to improve their knowledge and learn more about:
- heoretical and practical aspects of cyber hygiene;
- secure use of email services;
- protection of information and personal devices;
- anonymity issues;
- social engineering issues OSINT, etc.
This workshop was the first of the planned theoretical and practical workshops on the basics of cyber security and cyber hygiene for Ukrainian Foreign Ministry officials. The second workshop for Ukrainian diplomatic missions in South and North America will be held on 11 November 2021.
