Presentation of the German-Ukrainian project "DigiJED-2: Digital Education with Joined Efforts" was held

On February 15, 2023, a presentation of the German-Ukrainian project "DigiJED-2: Digital Education with Joined Efforts" was held online. The meeting was opened by the project manager Prof. Siemens E., University of Applied Sciences Anhalt, who focused his speech on the goals and objectives of the project related to the support of the Ukrainian educational community, both tutors and students.

Then representatives of universities (NTUU KPI, DNU, OPNU and NURE), which are participants of the project, presented the courses that will be taught in the spring and fall semesters of academic year 23/24. Each of the disciplines generated high interest among students, as evidenced by the large number of questions on the disciplines and their focus on the applied aspects of the courses. The Zoom platform that was used to organize the meeting was not able to reach everyone (more than a hundred guests) who wanted to join this interesting event.

As a result of the meeting, each of the participants received a link with the help of which they can register for the project until February 19, 2023, inclusive, and study by choosing the following courses this semester: Distributed Systems & Network Programming, Data Processing Cloud Technologies Machine Learning with Python, or Introduction to Deep Learning. The first of these courses will be taught in English and all others in Ukrainian.

Under the terms of the project, eight students from NURE will receive scholarships during the term of the study (four months) if they successfully pass the credits and receive certificates on the results of mastering the material. The certificates can serve as proof for re-enrollment in courses at NURE. Next semester, students will be taught Operating Systems, Machine Learning, and ICT Security, and the list of scholarship students will be updated. Students who perform well in their spring semester studies will have the best chance of winning scholarships.
