Introducing students from ICE Department to the Cyberpolice Department of the National Police of Ukraine
On June, 25, 2021, 1st-4th year students studying at V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department in specialities 125 - Cybersecurity and 172 - Telecommunications and Radio Engineering, visited the Cyberpolice Department of the National Police of Ukraine (DCP NPU) in Kharkiv. The student delegation was accompanied by Professor of V. V. Popovskyy ICE Department Yevdokymenko M. O.
The students were introduced to the work of the cyberpolice department, finding out in an interview with the police such important questions for themselves:
- main tasks of the department;
- areas of cooperation with other special services of Ukraine;
- key requirements for employment of university graduates;
- advantages and disadvantages of serving in cyberpolice;
- conditions for selecting students for internships and traineeships in the unit.
The meeting aroused great interest among the students for employment at the DCP NPU, especially among the higher year students. Junior students were given another motivation to improve their knowledge and practical skills in order to successfully undertake internships and work placements at DCP NPU.
