Access systems laboratory
The laboratory is located in room 305, in responsible charge – M.Y. Oshchepkov.
The equipment of the laboratory allows us to study the principles of building and technologies of the next-generation network access subsystem (NGN) using the example of the SI-3000 line of equipment manufactured by ISKRATEL-Monis.
The main feature is the presence of a full-fledged NGN layout in the laboratory, including softswitch, signal-media gateway, and ADSL2+, FTTH, and PSTN access gateways. In addition, the laboratory has a connection to the network of the operator Welton-Telecom, based on FTTH technology.
THE LABORATORY PROVIDES LABORATORY WORK AND PRACTICAL CLASSES IN THE FOLLOWING DISCIPLINES:
- CAN configuring access networks
- NGCS next-generation communication system
- TNMS transport network management systems
- IDCS integrated digital communication systems
- MFCNAS multifunctional communication network access systems
- SRS switching and routing systems
- SID system of Information Distribution
THE SI-3000 SYSTEM MANUFACTURED BY ISKRATEL-MONIS, WHICH INCLUDES MODULES:
- Call Server (CS)
- Signal-Media Gateway (SMG)
- ADSL2+
- FTTH
- SAK (PSTN interfaces)
- Management Node (MN)
