The USAID Project "Cybersecurity of Ukraine's Critical Infrastructure"
The project “Cybersecurity of Ukraine’s Critical Infrastructure” is a Project funded by USAID and implemented with the help of DAI Global LLC.
The group of partners involved in the implementation of the Project includes:
• a distribution company for advanced security technologies “Catalisto,
• Florida International University,
• International specialized cybersecurity company “Information Systems Security Partners”,
• company «Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories»,
• Ukrainian technological public organization “SocialBoost,
• Strategic IT solutions company “Veterans First Initiative”.
The goal of the Project is to make Ukraine’s critical infrastructure more resilient to cyber attacks by building relationships of trust and cooperation between the main stakeholders in cybersecurity, which represent government, private business, academia and civil society.
To achieve this goal, the Higher Education Project provides for the formation of cybersecurity human resources capacity in Ukraine, which consists of cooperation with higher education institutions and is aimed at improving the practical skills of toturs at Ukrainian universities.
During participation in the Project, Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics instructors will receive training (advanced training), which will allow them to organize and conduct the educational process in the field of cybersecurity in accordance with best practices, which will also increase the number of students enrolled in educational programs on cybersecurity.
As part of the Project, the toturs of the NURE will enhance their practical skills in the following areas:

№2 Digital forensics
№3 Cyber-Physical Systems Security
№4 Security and privacy IoT
№5 Basics of computer and network security
№6 Audit and risk management
№7 Security of Web applications
№8 Malware analysis.
After completing the courses, tutors will pass on their practical experience to students studying in the specialty 125 – “Cybersecurity”.
